Marius teaches Romanian folklore dances to amateur and professional folk ensembles, in courses and various workshops. He has participated to workshops in countries like: U.S.A., Canada, Brazil, Japan, Germany, Switzerland, England, Sweden, Yugoslavia, Hungary, France, Belgium, Hong Kong and Bulgaria.

Marius Ursu is expert choreographer of the folk ensemble "Doina Timisului" of The Students' Cultural Club in Timisoara, starting from 1990. Marius is mechanic engineer by profession, but he has decided to follow his goal in life, that of researching and valuing the Romanian dances and popular traditions.

Maria Ursu has been attracted to the popular dance from an early age, gang through all the steps of artistic performance from child and youth ensembles to renoven amateur ensembles ("Timisul" and "Doina Timisului"). Maria has followed the courses of The Polytechnic Institute of Timisoara and from 1990 has been a member of the folk ensemble "Doina Timisului", where she met Marius, choreographer of the ensemble. The two of them married in 1991 and they have a baby-girl, Patricia.

In the nineties they have taken part in over 70 artistic tours abroad, in over 25 countries, on 5 continents: U.S.A., Canada, Brazil, Egypt, Japan, France, Spain, Andorra, Germany, England, Sweden, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Grece, Moldavia, etc.
